Hi there!

I'm Kat. A trans woman who likes development and ops, with far too many interests to list. Recently, I've been experimentally learning how to make abstract 3D art in the 'Metalheart' style from the late 90s and early 2000s, swapping to openTofu for most of my infrastructure-as-code needs, learning Rust, and hopefully building a lighter blog.

I believe in an open internet, with fewer closed platforms and a heavy focus things like interoperability via protocols, and hope to contribute heavily to that future in the coming months and years.

For mostly non-computer hobbies, I listen to many forms of music (mostly Drum and Bass), dink around with radio in various forms, play the occasional video game, work on getting back into painting minis, and do an ungodly amount of reading.

For me, at least, it's a new dawn.

As of January 2025, I have replaced my blog with a ghost backend. You can find it above by clicking on 'FOOL_MOON'.

Trans people aren't going anywhere, and I assure you we will continue to survive.
